I
have a had a lot of email recently, on a trading system known as the
Rover North Forex trading system. Of course the claim is - its the best system ever, just as
the one these people mailed me before was the best system ever - so lets
take a look at the Rover North trading system in more detail.
On
the email I received, the performance figures are quoted which are:
Performance
Figures of Rover North
"P.S.
Don't forget the numbers! This is what this system has done so
far.
He gained 314.8% in one month.
He gained 122.11%
the month after that.
Last month, he made 104.37% in just two
weeks."
But
are these figures really real?
Lets return to this in a moment but
lets see how Rover North came about.
History
“It
beat 1290 other traders in one of the toughest Forex trading
competitions in the wold.”
Really?
I saw another system which did this a while back and it was sold
heavily with great figures and then not seen it again since. The
copy continues...
“It
went on to beat the other 19 finalists of the live real money round
of the same Forex competition.” and “Over 20,000 people watched
every trade during the demo and live round. There was complete
transparency”
So
20,000 people saw it make money so they should have a great number of
buyers already. Personally, I don't see the relevance of the above,
have never heard of the competition or know anyone who watched it.
We
get a lot of logins claims of beta testing real money accounts etc
but it would be nice to have an audit from a reputable accountant. We
don't get one which is common with almost all of the highly marketed
Forex robots. Next, we get winners of a competition for making
comments however not sure why we need to know but there on the site
if you want to read them.
Despite
all the claims of real money gains etc we also get a disclaimer:
The
Disclaimer
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE
MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO
REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO
ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE
FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS
AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR
TRADING PROGRAM.
So
if its all real money why a simulated disclaimer? It either made the
gains it claimed or it didn't; as I have said earlier any trading
system which had an independent audit of results would be a great
bonus in selling any system.
The
System Cost Just $97.00
Let's
go the end of the copy and look at another quote.
“Remember,
this trading system outperformed
1290 other systems
on both Demo and Live accounts and turned $1,000 into $2,122 on a
Real Money Live Account In Under 30 days...this could change your
life!”
So
the cost for the Rover North system and an income for life is just
$97.00 which is in line with the vast amount of other trading systems
which are sold online.
My
point on these track records is if they really do make the money they
claim, there doing better than the top fund mangers in the world on
multi million pound salaries so why don't banks ever replace these
expensive dealers with cheaper robots? You have probably guessed the
reason why.
Do
I think the Rover North currency robot will make huge gains as it
claims? Personally I have my doubts.
