I
received an email the other day which was offering me the GPS
currency trading robot so here is my review of this new automated
software program which the person emailing says: “We didn’t
think we’d see anything truly innovative in the Forex market until
next year, but I guess these guys were saving the best for last!”
is this robot a good one or is it one you should pass by let's take a
look.
The
GPS robot claims to combine the best in American and Russian robot
expertise and the copy continues:
The
Programmers
“Antony
& Ronald, two young geniuses & MQ4 programmers from Russia,
recently joined forces with Mark Larsen, a well-respected expert in
the Forex industry, to create a new Forex trading system with unheard
proof: over 1 year of live trading results- verified and
authenticated by a broker!”
The
software program itself is sold around the fact that it has a real
performance of well over 300% gains with under 10% draw down which if
it were true, would be a truly outstanding performance for any Forex
trading system:
“unheard
proof: over 1 year of live trading results- verified and
authenticated by a broker!”
Performance
and Verification
I
was keen to see the brokers verification and in the sales copy we do
get a letter from a broker in Panama and here is what they have to
say in terms of the performance of the GPS robot:
This
verification statement strictly serves the purpose of verifying the
status of the above
mentioned
lamFX trading accounts. This statement does not verify or validate
the account
statements
or any trading performance statements of these accounts.”
What
on earth does the above mean?
It
says it verifies the performance but doesn't actually state what that
might be and the broker doesn't sign off the performance on headed
note paper? The trading account statements are not presented, you
just get a spreadsheet of trades and not broker statements on headed
paper.
Real
Statements with No Audit
We
get lots of robots sent to us and a year or so ago, they mostly came
with simulated track records, then we moved to live statements and
now we move to what to me is a rather vague letter from a broker
which doesn't seem to substantiate or confirm any performance.
The
rest of the copy is a lot of testimonials from people which goes on
for quite a long time and then finally, you get to order the GPS
robot at a cost of just $149.00 which again seems very cheap if the
performance claimed were actually true.
If
the performance were true, like numerous other robots, the system
would be worth millions or hundreds of millions to banks and brokers
but I would be curious to know, if any of them use this Forex trading
system. They could of course sack there dealing teams on multi
million pound salaries and get a better performance with less draw
down for a minor cost.
Final
Words
My
email promoting this currency trading robots concluded with the
following statement
“Mark
and guys are releasing only 723 copies and this is not a scarcity
trick here, trust us. You can see live a counter on the page and it
is going down pretty fast. Once it reaches zero the SOLD OUT sign
will appear.”
The
justification for this of course is:
“That's
it. I am not going to sell it to the whole world and limit the
effectiveness of the robot!”
The
Forex market I think is a little larger than these guys maybe think
call me cynical but I just think the limit offer is a sales call to
action. Its funny that the email that promoted this system, has
promoted numerous other ones which were the best with unheard of
performance and now there is another one - the GPS
Forex Robot.
As
an experienced Forex trader, I a bemused that anyone buys this system
and the many others that promise financial freedom with no effort and
actually believes that systems can make better gains than the worlds
top fund managers – financial freedom for $149.00 doesnt quite add
up to me.
