we have started the week quietly but we don't see the lull in the
market lasting long, as the global economic outlook darkens. Between
now and the first week of January most currencies set their high or
low for the coming year and this year will be no different..

the Euro has been a fantastic down trend for us we really like the
look of the Australian dollar which has also made us huge gains and
is due in our view to fall a further 20 full points in the New Year.

speculators increased U.S. Dollar long positions in the latest week,
according to the Net Traders positions from the Commodity Futures
Trading Commission but are we due further strength in the dollar or
will we see a break? Let's look at two currencies, the Euro and the
Aussie dollar and see where they may go next.

while its due a good short term rally - its doomed longer term and
the Euro and risk currencies will sell off again.

Up
to 26 European Union countries will finalise a pact to enforce budget
discipline more strictly in the euro zone by March, a top official
said on Tuesday
but
the market doesn't care it's focused on now and its a fact the EU are
not tackling the current crisis – they have their heads buried in
the sand and this means more downside for the Euro...
